Daycare
The first five years of the child is the most crucial to a child’s development. At this age, a child makes millions of connections in their brains through their exploration. Our goal is to stimulate the child’s curiosity through creative provocations initiated by their interest. Other influences on development include genes, nutrition, physical activity, health and community. Their development is further supported through partnering with other agencies such as GRIT and community options.
Our facility reflects a warm environment with plenty of natural light and space. Children’s age groups range from:
infants 0 – 12 months
older infants 13 – 19 months
preschool room
Kindergarten room
Outdoor Play
The benefits of outdoor play is an important in how children’s learn. Gross motor skills such as large muscles are developed through climbing running, jumping, throwing; while problem solving skills are learned when engaged in risky and rough & tumble play. Other ways of learning are concrete through responsive environments such as mud kitchens, sensory play, playful exploration.
